This sensor is a type of thru-beam sensor that uses modulated visible red light as its light source. It has an effective detection range of 0 to 10 meters and can operate at a switching frequency of up to 1000 Hz. The switching type of the sensor is adjustable, with the default setting being light-on.
The sensor has a response time of 0.5 milliseconds and outputs a single NPN signal that is short-circuit and reverse polarity protected, as well as open collector. It has a degree of protection of IP67, meaning it is protected from dust and can withstand being submerged in water up to a certain depth. The sensor can operate within a wide ambient temperature range of -30 to 60 °C (-22 to 140 °F). The Photoelectric Sensor comes with a 2-meter fixed cable and has a cable length of 2 meters.
