IndMALL Automation is introducing the Pepperl Fuchs OBR12M-R100-2EP-IO-V31-L photoelectric switch, which is equipped with a laser retro-reflective sensor that can detect up to 12m. This switch features modulated visible red light as its light type and utilizes a laser diode as its light source. It operates at an operating voltage range of 10-30 V DC and has two push-pull outputs that are short-circuiting reverse polarity, and are overvoltage protected.
The switching type of the sensor is adjustable and comes with a default setting of C/Q – Pin4: NPN normally open/dark-on, PNP normally closed/light-on, IO-Link / Q – Pin2: NPN normally closed/light-on, PNP normally open/dark-on. With a response time of 0.5ms, this sensor has a maximum switching voltage of 30 V DC and a switching frequency of 2000 Hz.
The P&F photoelectric sensors are designed to operate in a wide ambient temperature range of -40 to 60 °C (-40 to 140 °F) and have a degree of protection of IP67/IP69/IP69K. The switch can be easily connected using an M8 x 1 connector with a 4-pin configuration. The threshold detection range of this switch is 15m, and its reference target is an H50 reflector with a reflector distance of 0.2-12m.
